There are new articles online now. One of these is an article about Jahmene Douglas of X Factor fame. I met Jahmene at Claridges in 2012, when I received my ‘Survivor of the Year’ award. Quietly spoken, he spoke to me and I felt then, he had a beautiful soul. I knew, of course, that his own life had been touched by the cancer that is domestic violence, and thought then what a brave young man he was to have not only got up on the stage and sung week after week but also to give his time to Women’s Aid as an ambassador for the charity. A truly inspiring man. Jahmene, if you read this, hang on in there. You are doing just fine….. 🙂
